(Mitsubishi Electric) and MMNA recently debuted a solar-powered cha ni ssan GTR specification rging station for electric vehicles mustang car at the MMNA headquarters in Cypress, California.

The charging station is powered by 96, 175W photovoltaic modules from Mitsubishi Electric. This charging station will help support CHAdeMO compatible electric vehicles such as the Mitsubishi i-MiEV.

Able to charge up to four vehicles at once, the station features three types of chargers with different voltages: standard level 1 voltage (110v) will deliver a 100 per cent charge in 22 hours on the new Mitsubishi i; level 2 (220v) which can charge the vehicle in six hours; and level 3 CHAdeMO Quick Charger, which can charge to 80 percent battery capacity in 25 minutes.

"This project will build awareness of solar power's versatility and efficiency," said Katsuya Takamiya, president and chief executive officer, Mitsubishi Electric and Electronics USA.

"As electric vehicles' popul bmw M5 specification arity grows, we expect to see more charging stations at large employers, automobile dealerships, shopping centres and schools, where new cars can charge while people work, shop or study."

Trinkler and RSR Motorsports leave Laguna Seca still in the Championship Hunt

PRLog (Press Release) – Jul 15, 2011 – P1 Groupe driver Owen Trinkler and the rest of the #198 RSR Mini Cooper S Team left Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca disappointed in their finishing position but understanding that with two races to go in the 2011 GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Series Season, they are in the chase of Team Points Championship.  Each and every race weekend this season the #198 has been near the top of the of the leaderboard in practice and this weekend at Laguna Seca was no different.  After each of the three practi 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 ce sessions for the ST Class, Trinkler and his co-driver Sarah Cattaneo was number one the speed charts.  Momentum was riding high for the team when they began their qualifying attempt, but when another car wrecked on the outset of qualifying it black flagged the rest of the session leaving the #198 Mini Cooper S to start 2011 Dodge Durango R / T the race 20th.

Cattaneo started the race and picked her way through the field while keeping the car clean before she handed it off to Trinkler.  Once the driver change was made Trinkler hoped to continue the charge, but a mechanical issue during his stint lead to an early exit by the team. The finish was not w android application hat they desired, but Trinkler and his team remains confident heading into New Jersey that all problems are fixed, and they will be ready to contend for a Team Points title.

Last weekend became a landmark performance for Koch in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Although he has finished higher in previous events, Koch's 22nd place finishing position took a significant bite out of his point deficit to fellow competitor Timmy Hill in the Sunoco Rookie of the Year standings.

The Rookie of the Year standings are separate from the overall NASCAR Nationwide point standings. Eligible candidates earn points based on their best 17 finishes of the season. Those points are earned through entry points and competition points based on finishing position. Top 10 bonus points are also awarded along with bonus points based on three segments of the season which are voted upon by a panel of voters at the completion of the season.

As he heads into the final 16 races of the season starting this Saturday in the New England 200, Koch is a mere nine points behind Hill in the Rookie of the Year standings. The coveted title is now down to just Hill and Koch as the only two drivers that can mathematically capture it. Koch's sudden surge into single digit status came last weekend in Kentucky when he finished three laps ahead of Hill. The strong performance by the Daystar #81 and the MacDonald Motorsports team cut Koch's point gap to nearly half from 17 points down to just nine points.

As he heads to the Granite State this weekend, Koch will set his sights on another strong run. Should he finish ahead of Hill on the 1.058 mile track that seats over 53,000 spectators, Koch will earn the Sunoco Rookie of the Race award for the sixth time this season.

Entering Friday's event, Koch was just 17 points behind Hill. When the checkered flag waved in the Feed the Children 300, Koch crossed the line in the 22nd position, three laps ahead of Hill who finished the race in 26th.

After a strong run at Daytona last weekend that ended with a cut tire and some disappointment. Koch and the MacDonald Motorsports Team rolled into Kentucky Speedway looking for some redemption and set their sights on earning the Rookie of the Race Award. By accomplishing that goal they made the battle for the title closer than ever.

"We had a really great run here in Kentucky, this place is a lot of fun to race at," said Koch, who had never raced at the facility prior to Friday night. "I came here with a goal to get another Rookie of the Race award and we did it. I have to thank everyone on the Daystar Racing team for all their hard work."

Koch qualified 27th for Friday's Feed the Children 300 on the 1.5 mile tri oval. His qualifying run was 1.164 seconds off of the leaders pace. By continuing to use the great patience he has shown for much of the season and communicating well with his crew chief and spotter Koch remained out of trouble for the event and raced his way towards the top 20. He took the checkered flag behind Aric Almirola and Steve Wallace.

With his 22nd place finish, Koch drove MacDonald Motorsports #81 to a career best finish at Kentucky. Previously the North Carolina based team's best run was a 26th place finish in 2004 and 2006 with former drivers Jamie Mosley and D.J. Kennington. The strong Kentucky finish was significant for Koch, not only in the Rookie standings but in the NASCAR Nationwide point standings as well where he has moved into the 20th position overall.

Friday's event had six different leaders and eight lead changes. Only 24 laps were turned under the caution flag, producing the longest green flag racing stretch in history for the series at Kentucky. Next Saturday, Koch and the Daystar #81 will compete on the famed New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, New Hampshire for the New England 200. For Koch, the magic mile will not be strange ground for the 25-year old driver as it is one of the few tracks he has previously competed on in his young racing career. Next Saturday's race will be broadcast live on ESPN at 3:30 p.m. eastern time.
